We are proud of the many years that  RISD Transition Services has been working with community businesses to help support and educate our students. It is a win-win situation for all.  Local businesses have provided job exploration opportunities, paid and unpaid internships, and most importantly paid competitive employment. In turn, these businesses have experienced some very dedicated and job ready employees!  Job Coaching is available, when needed, for our students to ensure success for both the student and the employer.

Our  annual "Business Appreciation Luncheon" is just one way to say Thank You to all the community businesses that support Transition Students.  Our luncheons are provided through RISD along with the generosity of various business donors.  We not only invite those businesses we wanted to thank but also tap into those businesses that wanted to know more about our services and our job prepared students!
