Not so good reasons for choosing a career……

1.      I want to be a teacher because my mom is a teacher.

2.   I want a job to make me rich.

3.      I want to be famous.

Here are the best reasons for choosing a career…..

1.    I am choosing a career because I have the natural

 talents to do the job.

What ARE your talents?  Talk to someone you know and trust

and ask them to help you list all of your strengths and talents.

2.    I am choosing a career that I have tried before.

List three jobs you have tried before, don't forget volunteer work

or jobs around the house.  Think of the ones you enjoyed and did well.

3.    I am choosing a career that will allow me to pay my bills,  save some money

and still maintain the quality of life I need.

Yea!  Great reason!! and on the subject of Money…….

1.      If you do what you love, the money will follow.

2.      Money is good for only two things:

a.      To provide you with all the material things you need,

not necessarily all the material things you want.

b.  To do things for others who may be less fortunate than you.  Who or what

organization would you like to help?  You can put down places you would like to  volunteer also.
