Jessica’s Success Story

I have wanted to help educate others about cerebral palsy since I was in 5^th grade.  I am now pursuing my long time goal and dream of being a self advocate.  I have a PowerPoint presentation that shows many of my successes in life and how I have overcome the challenges a person with a disability must face daily.  I have had many opportunities to speak and present in different places, such as Waco, Austin, San Antonio and here in the Dallas/Richardson area.  Groups I have spoken to thus far have been mainly parents and educators.  I also bring visual aids so my audience members can relate to a two pound, three ounce baby.  I think my presentation has a lot to offer, it gives people hope and fresh ideas.  If you would like more information about me or my presentation, please go to www.selfadvocate.org or email me at Jessica@selfadvocate.org.
